Fade Street Social Partners with Pint Aid to Revolutionise the Irish Charity Sector
We’re delighted to announce a partnership with newly launched charity fundraising app; Pint Aid. To launch the partnership and promote Pint Aid inhouse, Fade Street Social restaurant in Dublin 2 will have special beer mats with instructions on how to get involved with this amazing charity!
Launched in July, Pint Aid offers the beverage-consuming Irish public an innovative new way to donate to charities. The method is simple; upon visiting the Pint Aid app & website, charitable users can donate the price of a pint (€5) to charity when they are out socialising.
Every month, Pint Aid works with a new charity in an effort to accelerate and increase their donations. Pint Aid’s first campaign for Inner City Helping Homeless received over 1000 pints donated, which equates to €5070 raised for this great cause. Their October campaign is for Rory Gallagher’s Wish to Walk campaign aimed at sending a three-year-old Sligo native on a life-saving journey to the US for specialised Cerebral Palsy surgery.
Donations through Pint Aid are held by Stripe.com for the duration of the campaign and then transferred directly to the charity. Pint Aid gives the Irish public the transparent, trustworthy and truly simple donation mechanism that they deserve.
As part of this partnership, Fade Street Social will donate “One Thousand Pints” to that month’s Pint Aid charity.
Pint Aid Director Tony Fernandez commented: “By choosing Fade Street Social as your venue for a night out you will be supporting some brilliant charities. This is exactly what Pint Aid is about; making donating to charity as easy as possible for the public.”
The promotion at Fade Street Social commences on Tuesday 1st of November 2016.
