they are still ingrained in the world of agriculture. They work with 120 farmers - most in Northern Ireland, all in Ireland - who are all tried and trusted professionals; all producing the highest quality meat.

We are proud to work with Hannan Meats, a family-owned Irish company renowned for sourcing, producing, and supplying some of the finest beef and meat products available across Ireland and the UK. Established in 1991, Hannan Meats has built a lasting reputation for exceptional quality, consistency, and strong relationships with many of the leading restaurants, hotels, and specialist retailers in the industry.
The company was founded by Peter Hannan, who grew up immersed in farming life in Co. Kildare on a traditional beef and sheep farm. His hands-on experience in agriculture began early, with involvement in livestock and meat production from a young age. By his teenage years, he was already gaining deep practical knowledge of the industry, and later went on to broaden his expertise internationally, including experience running abattoirs in the United States. This combination of heritage and global experience has shaped the high standards that define Hannan Meats today.

At its core, Hannan Meats remains firmly rooted in agriculture. The company works closely with approximately 120 trusted farmers, predominantly across Northern Ireland and Ireland, all of whom are carefully selected for their commitment to animal welfare, sustainability, and quality. These long-standing partnerships ensure full traceability and exceptional standards from farm to plate.
In addition, Hannan Meats holds a 50% stake in the prestigious Glenarm Shorthorn Beef scheme, a partnership that further reflects its dedication to producing premium, grass-fed Irish beef with outstanding flavour and provenance.
