Premium Irish Wagyu Beef from Ridgeway Farm in Wicklow
Ridgeway Farm is a family-run farm in County Wicklow, Ireland, operated by John and Michelle Hourigan. Set against the backdrop of Ireland’s lush countryside, the farm is dedicated to producing premium Wagyu beef with a strong focus on animal welfare, sustainability, and traceability.

Working closely with animal nutrition specialists, the Wagyu cattle are raised on a carefully managed, nutrient-rich diet of grass, grain, and sustainably sourced supplementary feeds. The herd is free to roam Irish pastureland, supporting a low-stress, natural rearing environment that prioritises wellbeing and quality.

Ridgeway Farm places a strong emphasis on genetics, using carefully selected Wagyu bloodlines sourced from world-renowned sires. This commitment ensures consistently high levels of intramuscular marbling, producing beef known for its tenderness, succulence, and depth of flavour.

The farm operates with a focus on responsible and sustainable food production, continually improving livestock care, feed efficiency, and pasture management. Every cut of beef is fully traceable from farm to fork.

Ridgeway Farm supplies Wagyu beef to restaurants, butchers, premium retailers, and households across Ireland and Europe.
In addition to beef production, Ridgeway Farm also produces Ridgeway Skincare, a premium range made using Wagyu tallow. Rich in skin-compatible lipids, it is designed to support the skin barrier, reduce moisture loss, and leave skin feeling nourished and smooth.
